Stayed at Mill View Barns while cycling Way of the Roses in September 2022. The accommodation is absolutely fantastic - spacious and very comfortable, there is even indoor storage for bikes. For our evening meal, we had food & drinks delivered by Burton Leonard Post Office (see separate review), which was there for us on arrival and meant we could relax and enjoy the barns rather than going out after a tough day's cycling. Jane is a lovely host and made us all feel really welcome. Thank you so much. Would highly recommend.

Came to do bridal hair here. Beautiful self contained bright airy room. Tea/coffy facilities, large sitting room & bedrooms off there, i presumed, since they all dissappeared to change . Really relaxed atmosphere & good relationship with the resident labrador, across the way 😁

Cleanliness is next to godlyness - Mill view Barns is a Divine experience - and next to marvellous in the dictionary! Cute houses, cuter mince pies and the cutest friendly dog - Jane was a wonderful host. Recommended immensely to all.

Fantastic cottage made even better by an amazing host, Jane, who goes out of her way to make you comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen and she even brought us some home cooked treats on arrival. Spacious living area with views over the fields. Comfy beds and a large walk in shower. The only downside was no WiFi but for our short, last minute stay that was ok. Highly recommended this as a base to explore North Yorkshire from. So much to see and do in the area.

The owner Jane is amazing. We were doing the coast to coast, we had to change our time of arrival, so she booked us into the local pub for dinner. On arrival she greeted us with a welcome warm welcome. She showed us around our accommodation, which is stunning, we all loved it. The shower, the small shower head is bigger than most people's main shower head, the main shower head was massive. I wish I had time to have had a bath, that looked equally as enticing. The kitchen/dinner/main living area was bathed is light due to its full height glazing. This gave you a view over the field, which was lovely. Jane had left loads of food for breakfast, nice touch. Would we go back, yes.

Fantastic light, comfortable stay and fabulous warm welcome. Jane (the owner) could not be a better host. Great location for walking. Beautiful river walk is perfect way to start a day or wind down in the evening. Went all the way into the centre of Ripon. Jane (the owner) could not be a better host. Enjoyed days out at marvellous Brimham Rocks, Studley Royal (ask Jane about the Seven Bridges walk) and Fountains Abbey. Right on the Way of the Roses so will return to cycle.

A haven for cyclists or walkers. Barns built to a high specification, comfy throughout, and a very welcoming / friendly owner.
